Tell me a little about yourself & what has brought you to the centre?
I didn't have any support so I didn't know about the centre. I googled mental health services
and the Creative Living Centre came up. I was feeling suicidal and I was self harming nearly
every day. I wasn't going out.
How were you dealing with your situation before starting to attend CLC?
I was told by my psychiatrist to start attending support groups as I was really struggling to
deal with my mental health issues.
Which activities did you attend?
The courses and meeting people (staff/volunteers/members) have really helped me.
What would you recommend to others?
I would recommend to try and do all the courses.

What have you achieved since you became member of CLC?
I feel more relaxed. I now feel I can cope with my mental health a lot better. I have
significantly reduced how often I self harm. My confidence has improved. I am now going
Has coming to the centre helped prevent you needing other services?
I used to go to the GP's every 2 weeks but now I have not been since July 2018.
