Courses and Workshops

We offer a number of courses tailor made to help you achieve the best outcome possible. Whether it's your mental or physical health, we can help you improve and manage your daily life for the better. ​Our courses are funded by a charitable trust, which enables us to reduce course fees to £2.00 per session, making it accessible to people on all income levels. You can share as much as you feel comfortable and no one is put on the spot.

Combat ​Stress

Do you have a lot going on in your life, feel tense all the time or generally ‘stressed out’? Our two hour Combat Stress workshop can help you to:

  • Recognise stress in yourself and others and learn techniques to help?
  • Understand what leads to stress and how to keep it more balanced in your life
  • Deal with you stresses with a new approach to feeling calm​

​​Habits

Do you find yourself comfort or stress habits like reaching for something to eat when you’re bored rather than hungry? Our two hour Creating Health Habits workshops can help you to:

  • ​Understand  how to unpick your bad habits and develop healthy ones  
  • Plan how to change unhealthy to healthier habits
  • Learn ways of helping yourself stick to the new healthier choices​​​

The Worry Tree

Do you spend a lot of time worrying or find yourself worrying about things that might never happen? Then try our STOP Worrying Technique workshop. This two hour workshop can help you to:
​
  • Understand more about worries and how to stop those thoughts and feel better 
  • Learn to recognise ‘types’ of worries and develop ways deal with those more 
  • Take overwhelming thoughts and shrink them confidently 
  • Use a STOP technique to help you feel more in control of your thoughts ​​

Do you often criticise yourself, worry about what others think, or talk yourself out of doing things? If so, our Challenging Negative Thoughts workshops may be for you. This two hour workshop can help you to:

  • Recognise your negative thoughts and manage them in a more positive way
  • Learn what is a unhelpful thinking habit and how to cope with them 
  • Find ways of seeing things in a more positive way
  • Be aware of your thought patterns and how to develop a healthier way of thinking

It’s totally normal to face dips in motivation, but it becomes a problem when you're consistently disengaged. That's why we put together this workshop to help keep you motivated, day in and day out. Learn how motivation works and how this can help you do things you always wanted to do

Face Your Fear

If you find that your fear holds you back or creates bigger problems in your life, facing your fear may help you learn to better cope with the fear and ultimately overcome it. Does FEAR stop you from doing the things you want to do or achieving your goals? 
Our Face Your Fear workshops can help you to:

  • ​​Understand the concept of fear and how to handle it
  • Teach you how to overcome fear and take action
  • Equip you with the skills to handle fear by learning the 'Fear Ladder Technique'

Courses

Think Better, Feel Better

Think Better Feel Better looks at topics such as motivation, self management techniques, investigating anxieties or worries and looking at ways of reducing these. The course also takes a look at Art therapy and exploring strengths, fears and building on or managing these better, as well as Body language.

Your Wellness Toolkit

This course will try to help improve your emotional and mental wellbeing by learning more about yourself and coping strategies, through group discussion and exercises.

Boost your Confidence!

Boost your Confidence, is a great course looking at those moments you find yourself angry with the wrong people, feeling shy or unsure when talking to someone. The course looks at how you can handle situations differently and helps you boost your confidence with useful and practical ways. More so, how you want to do this, and what is right for you.

Eat Well, Feel Good

A great course with a lot of information for people who want to gain more knowledge about the food they eat, how to control their intake of food.  Also, how food affects their mood.
