Meet the Team

The Trustees

The Trustees are responsible for making sure the Centre is accountable, delivering an excellent service, and has a positive plan for the future.

TRUSTEE
I have more than 15 years' experience in HR and Learning & Development across a number of different sectors, including financial services, retail and leisure.

Brian

TRUSTEE
Brian is our Treasurer. Very much a native of Prestwich, after 29 years working in retail banking, I spent another 15 years providing support/advice to local companies as well as organising and delivering business and enterprise awareness training in local schools and colleges.

TRUSTEE
I live with my husband and children in Prestwich.  I have spent my career working in IT and I hope to bring this experience in my role as trustee at the Creative Living Centre.  The Creative Living Centre plays a vital role in our local community and I’m delighted to make a contribution to its continuing success.

TRUSTEE
​Since commencing my career as a building surveyor many years ago I have since become involved in many aspects of property, facilities & project management but over the last 10 years my focus has been on property strategy & planning. I am married with 2 sons & 2 Bedlington Terriers, I support Manchester United, enjoy keep fit training & playing my guitars.

TRUSTEE
I have a background of working within health and social care with a particular focus on homelessness, addiction and recovery. I have a passion for improving health inequalities, especially in relation to mental health.

TRUSTEE
I have more than 15 years’ experience of working in marketing and communications and I am passionate about helping to ensure people get the support for their mental health when they need it.

The Staff

Our staff members have years of experience in their respective roles and look to improve the health and wellbeing of our community by keeping the Centre running like clockwork.

I have a background in health and social care and am passionate about supporting people to have the best quality of life possible. I am proud to represent the CLC and the important work it does.

CENTRE MANAGER / DEPUTY CHIEF OFFICER
I have a background in counselling, specialising in working with children and young people. I have an holistic approach to working with mental health, having previously managed a healing Centre in Blackburn and more recently, services for a charity in South Manchester.

OPERATIONAL LEAD
 I have been working at CLC since 2015, I have a background working in marketing and communications and currently work as Operational Lead with CLC. I enjoy communicating with everyone about the great work that is going on at CLC.

SENIOR SUPPORT COORDINATOR
I have been supporting people on an emotional level since 2008.  I have an integrated approach to holistic well-being.  My passion is supporting people during difficult times by using all that Creative Living Centre offers.

SENIOR SUPPORT COORDINATOR
I started my position as a support coordinator at the centre in January 2014. In my role at the centre I particularly enjoy facilitating the 'Your Wellness Toolkit' course.

I have been involved with CLC since 2007. I am passionate about working with people helping them to have a better understanding of how to manage their own mental health leading to a more fulfilling life.

SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Hello all! My name is Jon Guerrier and some of you may recognise me as I was a volunteer and helped out on reception did some co-tutoring as well as peer mentoring. I enjoy to work with people in my own community and helping out in any way I can.

As a Creating Better Chances Worker my main focus is developing
and strengthen our ‘moving forward’ programme.

TAKE-PART COORDINATOR
I am the Take Part Co-Ordinator at the centre. I am really passionate about the positive impact that peer support can have on recovery.

My role as Outreach Co-ordinator, means I can bring the great work of the CLC to more people. I have a background in corporate wellbeing, and I am also studying for my MSc in Counselling.

VOLUNTEER ADMINISTRATOR
My background is working in finance within the public and charity sector. I am the Finance Administrator and Company Secretary at the CLC.
My role at the centre is in the recruitment and support of volunteers, I am passionate about mental health and my experience in customer service helps to support the staff team and the delivery of holistic well being activities at the centre.
