Vacancies

Our centre runs by a small team of staff with the support of volunteers, however from time to time a staff position becomes available. Any vacancies that we are currently advertising will be shown here. If you have any questions regarding any of the vacancies, please contact our Centre.

Centre Manager/Deputy Chief Officer

Creative Living Centre, based in Prestwich, was established in 1997 and provides holistic support to adults experiencing a range of issues such as low mood, stress and anxiety, social phobia and other mental health conditions. Over the last few years, the organisation has grown considerably, and we have now secured funding allowing us to expand and restructure our staff team, including creating the new post of Centre Manager / Deputy Chief Officer

As Centre Manager you will be the ‘go to’ person on a day to day basis both for the service and staff team at CLC, providing initial guidance, decisions and support to enable the service to run smoothly and effectively. You will also work with the Chief Officer and Trustees to contribute to the strategic direction and future plans of the Centre. At times you will deputise for the Chief Officer at internal and external meetings.

We are looking for someone with a great combination of skills. You will need to have proven experience of providing leadership to a team or service, and great people skills with the ability to support and develop your team. Your high level of experience and understanding of community-based mental health needs will enable you to advise and guide the service delivery team. In addition, you will be able to use critical analysis of information and excellent communication skills to clearly articulate ideas and influence others.

Our staff team is friendly, supportive, and committed to our vision of person-centred support available to all. You will play a key part in the continued development of a well-respected and outcome-evidenced mental health charity that makes a real difference to people’s lives.
