What the data tells us
We support around 600 people per year, and our data from 2023/2024 shows that
In addition, we know that our support helped a significant number of users avoid a GP or A&E visit, calling an ambulance or the police, or being admitted to hospital, therefore relieving the burden on statutory services. We know we make an enormous difference to the lives of many people, as shown by the quotes and testimonies below. |
We are currently working on our first ever Impact Report.

What our Members say
Rebecca
“I moved to Prestwich after a severe mental breakdown. I came to CLC for support. I was isolated and needed to connect to others. I am a long standing member of the community who has endured long term mental health.”
How it has helped her “Everything, support and acceptance, understanding, compassion”.
We asked Rebecca how she felt about CLC...
“It's fantastic, it's lifesaving & educational. It's important to the community. If you are struggling, come, get involved, you are not alone and they can help”

'I live in a care home, I had anxiety, depression and was in low confidence. I was isolated and lonely… I was struggling and staying in bed a lot… If anyone has any mental health issues or feel lost or lonely come to the CLC and attend classes, meet the helpful staff and get involved with the various courses and activities… It’s kept me mentally well and helps me in my living situation, also helps lift my mood.’

"I love this place, I particularly enjoy the music therapy.
